Buyer's Agent

OK, so I got interesting response the other day from a client. We get a call in from a person who wants to see one of our listings. I called him back and told him I was a buyer's agent and how can I help you. He immediately responded with " I want to speak with the listing agent. I do not want to pay a buyer's fee" I tried to explain the him that he would not pay my fee, and basically I work for the listing agent, he did not get it.

Anyway, I know now that people really do not understand how real estate and agency representation really works. The buyer does not pay a fee to the agent. The listing agent pays the fee out of their commission.
